I am in a position to recommend some Eizo monitors to a client. They are in the market for 21" (or possibly 19") for photographic work. I am looking for some feedback on a 21" flexscan L997 v a 19" CG. I don't think they wil cough up for the CG210.
It appears that the L997 uses the same S-IPS panel, has a useful contrast range of 550:1 and 14bit processing. Is the main difference the fact that the CG models are factory calibrated and ship with Color Navigator? Is the uniformity similar? Can you achieve a high level of calibration with an i1 and BasicColor? Since I am unable to see the units side by side I am looking for a little guidance from those with more exposure.
I am leaning toward recommending a tried and true CG19 but the extra size is a useful.
Regards
Simon
