Actually the opposite (I have both). When I get the “Too many errors” I switch to the slower A model which often works past the error.
I too have found that to be the case. .But with a new device, you’re on the bleeding edge.
How true. I've sent some testcharts to the GMB developers in Europe - we'll see what becomes of that. It seems like if the EyeOne can read the patches, the IO should be able to as well...
For now I'll stick with the DTP70 for thin materials and a Pulse or EyeOne for thick materials. Speaking of which, it should be easy for XRIte to update the DTP70 to accommodate thicker materials. I'm thinking about a Epson2200-like manual feed mechanism. DTP71 anyone?
