If the paper that is being used does contain OBs, then why would it be
inappropriate to use this paper to match the CCT of the booth to the
monitor? After all, that is "the environment" that is being matched.
Perhaps what we are talking about really is the need to select a
different white point for the monitor depending on each different type
of paper that is being evaluated in the booth. Since the variations can
actually be somewhat significant with and without various OBs, this
isn't such a radical idea and it's easy enough to quickly switch
between different monitor white points.
