I've changed the subject line to put out the "Warning, Accident Ahead" flashers
Apparently one should use the original PS install disks ...NOT AN UPDATE.
It looks like profiled printing is not an exercise one can undertake
with confidence with the current update, and PROFILING MAY NOT BE
POSSIBLE.

Could you be seeing the color management bug with Photoshop 9.1 and OS
10.4.6?
If so go back to Photoshop 9.0 (CS2 without the latest update)
