I guess I don't understand how one achieves the correct digital file, if it's not part of color management and if all presses don't want the same thing.
I assumed that the color profile was helpful to them, but clearly they need something else. What?
What exactly DO people do to their files, other than convert them into CMYK (which I gather is an art in itself), if they want good color from the press?
