Hi Russ and list -
The Eizo CG21 does not typically measure out at an even 6000K. I would
suggest selecting the following options when defining your calibration
standards:
Measured White Point
L* contrast
Brightness range between 95 and Maximum, depending upon whether you are
trying to match print, or look for maximum shadow detail
Black luminance set to minimum
16 bit LUT based calibration
Please give it another go and let us know whether you see the improvement
expected.

I was asked to test a beta version of basICColor 4.0 display on my EIZO
CG21 and I found my images where appearing a little flatter when
compared to the basICColor 3.0.4 version. When calibrating with
basICColor 4.0 there was more detail in the shadow areas and the white
point/cast was more yellow, even though the same settings where set at
the calibration stage i.e 6000K white point, Gamma: L*, Luminance:
Maximum.
I still prefer to calibrate with basICColor 3.0.4 as my images look
very accurate in colour and detail when comparing my digital proofs
under our GTI - EVS Color Viewer to softproofing the same images in
Photoshop with our in-house profiles.
Would anyone like to comment?
