Hi Peter
ISO coated and the UK P PA Proof for Press standard refer to two very
difference printing conditions.
Pass for Press is based on the Dupont PD 10 digital Chromalin 'standard'
mainly used for magazine web offset in the UK, the nearest ISO standard is
ISO web coated and curves B/C on paper type 3.
Not a sheet fed standard!
Are you using the Forga Media Wedge for proof control. If so I would be
looking to halve the 'pass' standard in the four areas checked for accurate
proofing in your market.
So a average Delta E of under 2, rather then the standards 4
A maximum Delta E of under 4 rather them 10
All primaries under 2 Delta E rather then 5
Paper under 1.5 Delta E rather then 3
