Even the contract proofs supplied by the printer could be questionnable. As
long as the printer commit to matching their own proofing system then I
would go with it. But I've seen many instances when printers cannot match
their own proofs on their presses. Contract proofs is an art.

There are "contract proofs" and there are "contract proofs". Obviously.
