Mine are much better! Thanks to a tip from Bruce Fraser who did all the hard
testing, using a Gamma 3.0 setting with the HCT target produces a lovely
profile. The Flextight Input profile is a "null" profile I still use for
color negs. But for chromes, I use my custom profile. I should admit, in the
fast few years, the number of times I've scanned film has dramatically
declined but I still use the 848 from time to time.
