I use the HCTs.
Input to working space profile conversion is RelCol. So if the scanner
space is larger than the working space, you'll clip colors. But isn't that
a problem with your working space? I mean, don't you want to get the full
color range of your tranny? Use a working space like Ektrachome Space or
the newer Chrome 100 Space (from Joseph Holmes) or ProPhoto RGB and you
shouldn't have a problem.
