Title: Re: Problems with Colorsync Device
List
Hello,
In my case I wasn't able to change the Profile: when I chose a new
Profile, it didn't appear where it should (without error message)
and there was still the old one. I had to delete the old Profile from
the HD and re-install the printer driver. Then it worked with chosing
an other profile.
Strange!
But then there is another strange thing: The printer appears twice in
the Color sync device list: once with a triangle and the possibility
to change profiles,
That means, that there are several colormodes, the printer
supports, normally Gray and CMYK or Gray and RGB or for some
consumerprinters, that's the place for several paper related
profiles.
and once without
triangle an no information about profiles. This happens for several
printers. One printer (Xerox Phaser 7300) has even twice a triangle to
chose profiles, so I'm not sure which is the valid
one.
These list items don't represent several printers. They represent
only printer queues. So you have the possibility to connect to one
printer over several protocols. And for all of them you are able to
define the profiles.

Thomas
