Is that the same L* as in basICcolor Display?
Yes, I do mean the L8 'gamma' from the BasICColor Display s/w which is now
in the later versions of Color Navigator for the CG screens.

Which instrument did you use?
I was using a Monaco Optix XR for both measurements. I have found this the
best instrument with these screens and Color Nav.
The CG 220 however is best calibrated with a EyeOne spectro, and I would use
the EyeOne with the BasICColor Display s/w as this seems to give the best
result on most screens.
