I just tried it to be sure, but that's not it. Thanks for the suggestion
though.

I think I found the answer. The tiff file needs to be one pixel-per-color,
and I've been selecting my target file that I printed for the spectroscan.
I'll try reformatting to one pixel-per-color and see if that helps, but it
still wouldn't explain why the export option is grayed out. It would only
explain erroneous results.

I'll report back after I've tried it...
