What every Rev A owner really needs is the clamping board and the new
ruler - those make using the instrument a pleasure, no more misread
lines. The ruler+case costs about $100 and is the best buy any i1
owner can make. I wouldn't change instruments unless absolutely
necessary because you never know how compatible old software is with
an old instrument.
