Hi all,
just to clarify things:
I have made comparison measurements between rev. A, B and D
instruments, they are all within the specified inter instrument
agreement (if you have a fairly new or recently recertified
instrument). So, no worry about revisions (maybe except for the
ambient light feature which is absent in rev. A and to my knowledge
cannot be upgraded). None of the revisions is upgradable to UV cut -
if you need both, you´ll have to buy both.
Regards,
Karl

Hi Edmund,
both, revision A and B, have incandescent light, the main
difference is in the firmware. Revision D (the present series) is a
completely different animal. But it has incandescent light as well.

Andrew, look at the good side - you can switch instruments in mid-
flight
and get a valid profile - or at least you think you get one ;)
Am I wrong or is Rev B LED illuminated, while REV A has an
incandescent lamp in it ?
If the patches are in random order, measuring half of them with a
different illuminant might actually improve the profile ;)
