Hi Roger.
On page 23 of "The Measurement of Appearance" (by Richard S. Hunter and
Richard W. Harold, 2nd Edition, 1987), you can see Figure 2.3, illustrating
the "luminosity functions of the human eye" for both photopic and scotopic
vision.
I don't know if the terminology used in this text is anomalous or proper,
but this is one instance where it is found.
