Hi Marco,
You know, I'll have to dig a little deeper into this "Luminosity"
terminology. I always shied of paying $250 for a copy of the CIE Publication
17.4 - International lighting vocabulary, but this is one case where I'd
like to have it on hand :(
I won't argue with Richard S. Hunter but I'm nevertheless puzzled as there
can't be 56 different words, in color science, to refer to the same concept?
A casual look into some english photometry and colorimetry books I have here
does not turn anything under "Luminosity" (Wiszecky & Stiles, Hunt, Burns,
Fairchild, ...). I wish I had a more authoritative text but I don't. So, for
now, I'll have to rest my case. Thank's for bringing your reference up.
