Quato Intelli Proof 213 v Apple 23" Cinema Display

Somebody's going to knock on the door and take away the Intelli Proof display that we've been loaned for evaluation - so I've just run a couple of tests using the iColor software and posted the results up to the web site.

First though, a problem with the Cinema Display:

The above is a photograph of part of the top of the panel. You'll notice a darker and uneven patch that runs across the top of the whole display. It looks like the kind of mark you'd get if there were fluid seeping into the top of the panel. Anybody got any ideas what this is? The panel is 12 months old and I only noticed this yesterday - it wasn't there before.

The following web page shows the options available when calibrating Quato and non-Quato monitors using iColor Display 2.1:

At the bottom of the page you can view the PDFs of the UGRA Certification tests of both monitors. These are very detailed and highlight the difficulty of getting a display to pass the tests if you haven't got hardware calibration.

I'd be interested in seeing the test results of other people who are using Quato displays.
