Rich:
HP had three different booths at Graph Expo.
Maybe you didn't visit the LargeFormat booth (42700),
close to the Scitex machines. But we certainly had there
one Z2100 and one Z3100, printing non-stop. And there
were other 6 and 5 at different booths (CGS, Kodak, Adobe,...)
The spectro is used not only for profile creation, but
for calibration as well (valid for Contone RIPs). It's fully
accessible through a documented API, which is what
GMG and others are using.

The new HP Z2100 printer (press release following Photokina) has an
on-board spectrophotometer for profile creation. What are your
thoughts on this?
David Saffir
Looked pretty cool. Weird thing at Graph Expo, is that HP didn't have
one. Had to go to GMG's booth to see one.
