Got a relatively simple question.
When creating an output profile via Profiler, why is it that when creating a CMYK profile under the advanced options tab the Color Patch ink limit has a max setting of 400% but when creating a Hexachrome profile the Color Patch ink limit maxes out at 600% To me this seems logical. But several individuals have consistently told me that ink limiting in a Hexachrome environment follows the same set of rules as ink limiting in a CMYK environment. If so, why does the Hexachrome Color Patch ink limit max at 600%
Seems to me that the logic associated with Profiler and Hexachrome profiles would dictate that you would want to base your ink limit on a build of all six colors not just CMYK.
