Hi. I just upgraded from my UV DTP-41 to a DTP 70 (I now have user selectable UV cut-off. Who hoo!). I use MonacoPROFILER 4.8. I build profiles for photo papers with brighteners and proofing papers without. Does MonacoPROFILER still not correct for UV?

Although I like the idea of software based UV correction, when it comes to comparing final prints there are no signs that hardware elimination is inferior. I would recommend that you leave the filter in the "UV excluded" position on the right for all Profiler measurements, regardless of the presence of OBs. Not doing so will can have some minor consequences (especially when proofing) that many wouldn't even notice.
