What did you say is your current RIP?

Hi Roger,

It's Scamvec's Photoprint 4.6. The printer is a large solvent inkjet with 6 colors CcMmYK. I'm defining the ink limits in RIP and using PM 5.0 to build the profile. To get rid of the peppering, I will try PM 5.0 "black width" but as I observed that using 75% K I would not "mess" with the deep shadows, I wondered if I could also reduce the maxK, but I'm afraid in loosing some saturation in dark colors, in particular dark yellow (a.k.a brown tones).

Of course I can try all different options (black start, maximum black, black width, GCR), but reading so many patches with an eye-one pro is very time consumption!

Best regards,
Lorenzo
