I suspect the spectrums of both monitors are slightly different from each

I take it you mean the EyeOnePro. If so, you might want to compare the two
monitors uncalibrated whites spectrally. I gather argyll offers the means to
take emissive readings with the EyeOnePro down to 3.something nanometers?
That's a rather high spectral resolution. (I have not tested this myself yet
and don't know if this only works accross all measuring modes -- reflective,
emissive, ambiant)

I think the key to building comparable calibration across ACDs is to adjust
their uncalibrated brightness levels first, in System Preferences >
Monitors.
