One thought is to try ColorEyes Display Pro. The latest version for
Mac (I think it is out now) will drive the luminance of the ACDs. So
no more fiddling with the brightness buttons. For dual monitors you
can lock the settings so that your secondary display is calibrated
with identical parameters to the main screen. I'm getting reasonably
close mid-gray hues between an Eizo CG21 and an ACD23. I'd expect an
even better match, of course with two identical monitors.
