This is a case of user expectation being in a different realm from the
intended use. QTR is for making B&W inkjet prints, mostly fine art prints, and the
CreateICC profiles are to assist users in softproofing the results of this
process, and applying correction curves conveniently. These are not universal
profiling and printing tools, intended for a full range of uses; they are
specialized tools that function suprisingly well in their intended area.
