Hello Ken,

Am 05.12.2007 um 14:41 schrieb Fleisher, Ken:

For some reason, this script has no effect on the image file. I used the
model from the example scripts supplied by Apple and I can't see why this
shouldn't work. Further, in a more complex script, I am getting an error
-176, but I cannot seem to find a reference to what this error is.

if there is still the logic in Mac error codes, -176 is an OS error,
and looking up the ColorSync documentation reveals:
-176 cmProfileNotFound
which might be a possible error.

Now I've looked into the samples Apple provides and found that nearly half
of them don't work anymore!

It seems to me that especially match is broken.

As a solution, proof seems to work, just use it with a null transform:

proof alias "Macintosh HD:Users:Rolf:Desktop:Test.tif"
from source alias "Macintosh HD:Users:Rolf:Desktop:Source.icc"
to destination alias "Macintosh HD:Users:Rolf:Desktop:Destination.icc"
matching with absolute colorimetric intent
onto proof alias "Macintosh HD:Users:Rolf:Desktop:Destination.icc"
using quality best

Hope this helps a little bit.

Regards

Rolf Gierling
