In short, yes. To calibrate a media in Onyx to a normal gray i normaly print
the ink restriction swatch and eliminate bleeding problems then adjust the
density of each channel to be inside of a 0.1 density points. To check the
density you can use the "calibrate device" window. Let the swatch dry at
least 12h. In PH 7.1 you can use build icc profile too... To describe in
detail all of the profiling a media procedure in Onyx PH 7.x i woud pobably
wear out my keyboard so im not going to start with this but if you have any
more questions feel free to ask.
P.S. If you have a ES-1000, i know a way to install it as EyeOne (pro) so
you can use it in Onyx and other programs like i1 Match 3.6.x
