Dale,
The answer lies in how you first printed that target to your two CDs, IMO.
However you printed the targets to your CD is exactly the way you should
always be printing your files to achieve consistent results. I assume you
sent the target as RGB dat -- logical! So, to continue on that logic
dictates that any subsequent images that you wish to print onto your CDs
should be printed the absolut same way, in the printer's RGB space, because
that's how I understand you outputted your original EyeOne RGB 1.5 printer
target (you didn't say whether you'd sent from Photoshop?). So, suppose you
have some nice sRGB image you're looking at in Photoshop. If I were you,
then, I'd first convert the image it to your custom printer profile in
Photoshop and send it on down to the printer in this 'managed' way. But you
could always send un-managed and select your printer profile in the Print
dialog box to do the conversion there. But I would first make sure you are
able to replicate the 'cake' receipe exactly bu sending 'un-managed'.
Best wishes to you to for a New Year!
