My opinion is the display calibration tool included in this product is
now out of date and should not be used anymore with the newest
monitors. Just a personal opinion, so you're free to disregard it.
The print and input profiler included in Monaco 4.8 are, in my opinion
again, superb, wonderful, marvelous, so getting an extra piece of
software just for monitors does not devalue the rest of the package..
In the mean time I'd use a recent version of any of the other standard
products (EyeOne Display, ProfileMakerPro, Basiccolor Display ,
ColorEyes Display) for a current-generation LCD monitor, and as a
supplementary precaution I'd hang an EyeonePro spectro on the display
if you happen to own one.
Some of the above products (Basiccolor, ColorEyes) have demos that can
make a limited number of profiles, which would allow you to test them
easily and get you afloat again.

Does anyone have any advice on using this tool on LCD monitors? I am in a
print shop environment and trying to match my digital press proofs. I have
tried the default settings and going through all the step by step with
results that I am less than happy with. I need more saturation and it is too
"red".
