Title: Re: dtp70 is dead
This is bad news. I own both the DTP20 and DTP70, and I find the instruments serve very well their purpose and in a reliable manner.
I don’t understand why x-rite discontinues most of their products. I have never owned any GMB equipment but I have never heard either that they are *far* superior. Besides, it is well kown that depending on configurations one may deliver more favorable results than the other.
I personally feel this is a bad and wrong decision if actual.
Olivier

I think this does show what truly happened in the merger. Despite paper work to the contrary, GMB took x-rite, not the other way around. I had hoped to see the best of each companies products maintained, and maybe that’s what we are seeing, although in the case of the Pulse I would disagree. I wonder how long before Profiler is EOL.
