Generations G-Chrome (G6) Inks Compared to Ultrachrome for Epson 2200

Can anyone with comparative experience offer a comparison/contrast of the Generations G-Chrome (G6) inks (proposed to be used with a Niagara IV Continuous Feed System on an Epson 2200) compared to the Ultrachome inks.

We use the printer more for proofing for CMYK output than for archival photographic printing, and own a ColorBurst RIP and profiling equipment (Eye-One and ProfileMaker 5).

The cost savings could be significant, but I am also concerned about potential limitations/pitfalls.

(Cross-posted simultaneously to several lists, as I'm hoping for a timely, pre-MacWorld-visit response, and I think that the predilections of the various list members may vary. I hope this will be acceptable.)
