Title: DAVID SCHARF PHOTOGRAPHY
Roger,
It sounds great, but I would like more information about the Dmax of
the black in the B&W and the color prints using various matte and
fine-art papers. I also would like more information on the archival
longevity of such prints. Any testing yet from Wilhelm?
Regards,
David

I like the build quality and autocalibration of this beast, it looks
wonderful for repro shops etc.who are HP's traditional clients.
Many (read "a lot") of repro shops are HP devotees.
Whether it'll break Epson's lock on the fine art and photo market is a
different question.
The autocalibration capabilities alone would almost sway anyone's buying
decision. I've worked with a Z2100 last week at a GMG certification training
class and, man, is this ever hot. It's like the iPhone re-inventing the
mobile phone. Under tight temperature and humidity conditions, we all know
Epson's are remarkably stable. But this is adding a layer of peace of mind
that I would be willing to pay for anytime. Plus, you have the extra gamut
afforded by the RGB inks -- what more do you want?
I'm not working for HP, btw.
