Hi Paul.

It just might be adapted from the Mitsubishi  Diamond Pro 20xx series.   

I am still using the Diamond Pro 2060u and extremely delighted.  I have used it with the blue and white G3, early G4, and currently it is on the G5.

I also have the 1999 LaCie19blue, again, adapted from the Mitsubishi chassis.   Operating fine.  However the brightness is leaving me.    Since I custom profile 70cd, it is of no consequence.   

I will say, the LaCie 19blue II was a disappointment in performance, so gave up on it for the Diamond Pro 2060u.    No regrets.
