Hi David,
Thanks for your shared experience. If the 19 Blue II was a
disappointment, the 22 is probably in the same wagon. LaCie went on
till selling a Blue IV series before abandoning the CRT sector. Some
Electron Blue were in high estime, but probably not all. I have
switched from a 24" Trinitron which I kept for 7 years, but that was
probably 2 years too many, to an Apple Cinema display some years ago
and my eyes are so much happier. But wanted a second monitor to let my
son put his hands at FinalCut, and the high resolution would have been
a plus over the actual cheap 17" TFT to accomodate the complex
interface.
Best regards

Hi Paul.
It just might be adapted from the Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 20xx
series.
I am still using the Diamond Pro 2060u and extremely delighted.
I have used it with the blue and white G3, early G4, and currently it
is on the G5.
I also have the 1999 LaCie19blue, again, adapted from the
Mitsubishi chassis. Operating fine. However the brightness is
leaving me. Since I custom profile 70cd, it is of no consequence.
I will say, the LaCie 19blue II was a disappointment in
performance, so gave up on it for the Diamond Pro 2060u. No regrets.
