This has been a most interesting and useful thread. Thanks for all the commentary -Priceless-!

Using ErgoSoft PosterPrint, I've found using a combination of almost all of the afore mentioned procedures seems to be the best option for me, when it comes to limiting individual channels. Using the internal procedures to get me in the ball-park and then using several custom test patterns to analyze the situ and visual analysis as well.
