That's hogwash. Sorry but Adobe needs to make a profit (don't
you?). At the
same time, they have provided by far, the most useful set of tools
for many
of us than another single company on the planet.
And that's a strawman - I never said that Adobe shouldn't make a profit.
I would question why Adobe needs to make twice as much profit from me
as it does from you (assuming that *you* ever purchased a retail copy
of their product)?
Let's imagine that we could line up the executives who initiated
things like RF sales and 18 month upgrade cycles (whether the
products were ready or not) against a wall and shoot them...
Would Photoshop cease to develop any of its most useful tools?
The blogs of the creative people responsible for the code suggest not.
