Folks, folks,
All I'm interested in, personally, is progress and to further my
understanding of color management and color related products and practices.
Of course, it goes without saying that the platform of choice to flex those
CMS discoveries is a Macintosh -- no question. To me, ColorSync is the
underlying and enabling technology of this all (I know there are other
platforms and Oss but I feel the Mac has a lot to offer, graphically).
Anyhow, I'm not after bashing Adobe. I find Lightroom fast growing on me, as
well as on many others, I suspect, as people are slowing realizing that
Photoshop can't be everything for digital photography. I still love to use
Photoshop, don't get me wrong. But more and more, I find the idea of using
Lightroom interesting. And, this business about percentage digital readouts
is still not second-nature to me, no matter what space it refers to -- I
have too many years of Photoshop Info palette under the belt.
Heck, why can't they make it into a preference? How wrong can that be?
