Thanks for your comments Jan-Peter. Most of what you discussed was over my
head, but I gather the intent - there is seemingly much that Apple could do
to make it an even more compelling platform for graphic arts and it does not
even need to be products that directly compete with other companies. I've
read these kind of comments many times while lurking on this list, but I do
not have the knowledge, experience or background to know if they are valid
requests and if they are feasible things for Apple to do. What you say seems
to make a lot of sense from the standpoint that it would be in Apple's best
interest to provide high-end functionality in the OS itself to its (I would
presume) fairly large graphics art customer base.
In regards to the sarcasm at the beginning of the post...

I sense your frustration with something that probably seems so obvious and
yet so totally out of your control, but it tends to tinge your otherwise
thoughtful suggestions.
