It seems to me that LivePicture was lost in somebody's closet,
Live Picture was cleverly done, as clever as you could get back in '96
- '97, IMHO. There are some very top notch photographers that still
use it in their work flow, which says a lot for an app of that
vintage.
They retain machines that boot into Classic, which doesn't bode well
for the long term. Efforts with emulators like SheepShaver (?) to get
them working in OSX aren't too successful. Yet this hard core of
enthusiasts persists, Joseph Holmes being one among others whose name
some in colorsync circles may recognize, Ekta Space PS 5, J.Holmes,
being the most familiar. He offers other color spaces and chroma
variants on his website and his images speak for themselves:

Would be interesting to hear comment.
As Nick Dunmur pointed out in another recent post, the LP Group is
still alive and active.
