The link to the Live Picture Group is: http://www.calverley.co.uk/LP-
GROUP/
BTW, the ability to start Classic is all that is needed to run Live
Picture. Booting in OS9 is not necessary.
Also, before Macromedia bought Xres it was called Fauve XRes... it
had some potential but Macromedia tried to make it a Photoshop-killer.

Believe it or not, there are still some users out there that have
older
Mac's around just to run Live Picture.
And they are dedicated users too with an extremely helpful and
well-informed
discussion group run by the venerable Julian Calverley. Be nice to
see LP
develop into a proper alternative to PS and Adobe's practical
monopoly.
Is that list still active?
I used to be subscribed, but awhile back my server overflowed &
some lists stopped working.
If you have a current link where I can renew, I'd appreciate
learning of it!
I recall there had been some interest not too long ago about
recoding it for modern CPU's but then that thread kind of faded....
