No, I'm simply playing along with him, hoping it improves his on line
manners.
That said, I certainly hope Martin has wiped every Adobe application from
all his computers otherwise he'd appear somewhat of a hypocrite which I'm
sure isn't the case.
It was also useful to remind him of some of the current advantages of DNG,
assuming he does shoot images he hopes to use in the future and isn't fully
aware of some if the advantages of the format. Shame its an Adobe product,
he'll have to move to DUPE or maybe just shoot JPEG.
DNG isn't a prefect solution but the best we have today and I know its
evolving. Of course if Martin or any other company comes up with a standard,
open format with the same or better features as DNG, and I can use it in the
various products I use today, I'd be happy to adopt it.
