points on
the subject.
Are you a "decorum & etiquette consultant" as well as a "color
consultant"?
Let me remind you of my points - the points that you have described as:
"You[r] points thus far, as far as I'm concerned are mostly
negative and nasty, immature and without merit."
1. Adobe act as middle-men in the sale of RF imagery which is
damaging to the incomes of photographers
2. Adobe pass off their infomercials as "white papers"
3. Adobe charge UK users more than double for the same upgrades as US
users and a hefty $1000 premium on the full CS3 package
4. Adobe have not only angered photographers through RF sales, but
have also done the same in the printing industry by acting as middle-
men for print procurement
5. Adobe sell DNG by exaggerating the fears of data loss and the
proprietary nature of camera software
6. Adobe sell DNG as being useful to image creators but the format
would appear to be more useful to the middle-men and end users than
authors
You've been quick to follow up every one of my posts but have been
slow to address any of the issues. Odd isn't it that a high profile
booster of Adobe should be reduced to whimpering:
"I'm sure you have some valid points to make. But the message is
clouded in anger and poor behavior. The only person you hurt in doing
this is yourself."
I'd have expected a bit more of a meaty debate? And as for:
"That's OK with me since I'm not the one who continues to hurl
insults which I'll add is probably necessary due to you inability to
express meaningful argumentation."
That made me laugh heartily. Maybe it's just true that "those who
can, do, and those who can't become color management consultants"?
Your partisan views borne of parasitic relationships with companies
like Adobe might be confused with genuine expertise by the naive. But
it's plain to me that you've got nothing useful to say on any of the
above points.
