Yes that was an issue with subtle banding in some areas of red hue. There
was a standing bug within OS X that forces the printer driver ICC profile
into a "Default" ICC whenever you turn OFF color management within the
printer driver. The trick was to ensure that if you had multiple Epson
printers that you specifically picked the printer in Print Center as the
default. It only seemed to show up in Photoshop. I was able to make the
problem disappear using InDesign, the same data would band in Photoshop.
This issue was supposed to be 'fixed' in 10.4.9 but I found that the big may
still appear on PPC not Intel machines so test this out.
