I used an Isis for a month in place of my 3 Iccolors...

My variation was cut by greater than 1/2. My useability was greatly
enhanced (not a single target rejection). There were NO maintenance
issues, while my Iccolors typically must be tended with loving care and
sent out for work, regularly. The DTP70 will no measure my media, so I
have no comparison with it.

As for robustness -- my opinion is that the Isis is pretty well built.
It looks like the internal stop rests against part of a circuit board
for the light source, but the drive mechanisms seem really well thought
out. I am in the process of buying one to replace the 3 semi-working
Iccolors that I have, even though money is tight.

My MFG folks nearly rioted when I sent the demo unit back.

For what it's worth...
