Thank's for sharing this information.

I must admit that this is a behavior I, personnaly, have not witnessed very
often (maybe because I, personally, am not a heavy user of ProfileMakerPro
profiles?). I could not say for sure whether this is a Photoshop-related
behavior because I have not tried this conversion outside of Photoshop. But
I would tend to think it wouldn't be since BPC is Adobe invention.

Which goes to show that BPC is a good thing.

But there must be something with the way ProfileMakerPro writes their Lab to
perceptual rendering tags that creates this "opportunity".
