There are those that will scoff at this, but for the budget conscious, the
Dell 24" Widescreen monitor is a very solid performer. I've had one for over
6 months now on a backup system, and there has been virtually no color drift
whatsoever since my first calibration, and I calibrate it weekly. And my
print to screen comparisons are extremely close.

Regards,
Bob

Wow! How I'd like to have deep pockets like that.

Apparently, when Apple starts using LEDs in its bigger screens, the 23" ACD
should become palatable again. For now, I wouldn't personally touch it with
a ten foot pole.

We now know that LED LCDs are going to start life into MacBookPros, I guess
it's a matter of time before we see them in Apple's larger displays.

Some people have expressed reservations about LED technology, though.

I'd buy a 30" ACD myself anytime over a 23".

CG221? Write me offlist about it.

My CG21 is still going great after three years, here, and if I had to buy
again, if I didn't go for something like a Samsung XL20 or XL30, or the NEC
Derek mentionned or the LaCIE 526, my vote would go for a CG211. Or maybe on
of those Quattos?
