I wasn't impressed with the software (which was still early in development)
and the colorimeter (huey) they were using. Otherwise, from looking at it
for 20 minutes, seemed OK. But where is it? I've tried contacting the people
who showed me (and Karl Lang, Chris Murphy) the private demo and they all
appear to have left the planet, along with the display. I have no idea if it
ever saw the light of day. Too bad, great price point.
I did like the NEC LED unit I had for awhile. But at the time, it was $5K
and that's simply an insane price to pay for a display. I recall hearing
users complain in the old days about the cost of Barco's and even Sony
Artisans (those cost under $2K).
