I notice that Apple no longer requires plain text messages for posting to this list. Rich text emails (like this one from AppleMail) are now converted to plain text for posting.

That may or may not continue to be the case. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to avoid the spam we got a few days ago. Since messages from some of you were being rejected, I disabled the multipart filtering, which then let the spam in. So ideally if you want to be on the safe side, post in plain text. You're right, it does get converted to plain text, but depending on how the filtering is set it may be rejected later on.
