The Emulate Illustrator v6.o is not Photoshop 5
Default
CMYK, nor Photoshop 4, also.

I don't follow you here. Since you can choose Document
RGB as Destination. And you can also print it as
Composite
RGB by choosing Composite RGB in Output section of
Print dialogue box. Or you can use Monitor RGB as
starting point (to convert to a known CMYK space) if
you
like the look of your RGB image in that setting.

Because it emulates what InDesign 1.x did.
I think this choice exists just for opening old files.
