This is starting to get interesting. Can one really make a
satisfactory camera profile for Raw by photographing reflective target
? Or does this work only if the camera's Raw values are already
de-facto linearised either by the Raw converter or by the firmware ?
In my (limited) experience with camera profiling, the process is very
much camera-dependent. And of course Raw-converter-dependent. Does
this process of yours work with somebody els's Raw converter ?

There is no color matrix conversion or any other kind of profile

I'm confused so maybe you can clear up the process.
I have a Raw converter (I use Lightroom and ACR but they don't support
custom profiles, lets say Raw Developer that does). I have a processing
pipeline that provides some RGB data after demosaicing. Now what?
Is this the same company and product that provided a proprietary target
(and changed by the click for building profiles) a few years ago? Similar
name (I'm on the road so I can't dig up the target and software).
